I have the chance to get some Recaro SRDs for a good price, but I've never sat in one, so I'm not sure if it will be too tight for me. I'm 5'9" and 185lbs, and I keep hearing the SRDs are built for smaller drivers.

I've sat in Integra Type R seats, and those fit me like a glove. I've also sat in Sparco Torinos, and those are a bit tight. Can you guys give me your opinion between the SRDs and your Type R seats?

 

If your talking about the JDM sr-IIs then they are much larger in size than the USDM ITR seats. With your height and weight I think you will fit fine.

 

I'm 6'1" and 185 lbs and they are comfortable. I have had some - em - gravitationally challenged friends (6', 230-250 lbs) in them without complaint. These are not bucket seats so you'd have to be a bit of a lardass to have trouble with them.

 

Sorry about that... I was asking about the US spec Recaro SRDs.

 

You were correct the first time. There are no JDM SRDs. Equivalent seats there are SR-IIs.

 

i sat on the US spec SRD ... and they are pretty comfy. i am around your size.. 5'9 190 lbs.

by the way.. where can you get a good price on those? i m looking for 1 SRD...

My cost on the SRDs is a little cheaper than what they're going for in the group buy. I'm not sure where they're coming from though, but its some distributor in California. Sorry!

By the way, does anybody know how much fabric to cover the rear seats costs?

 

Hey I'm in your area do you think you can get me a seat Bracket for the drivers side SRD. Ihave the seat but bracket I gues they are back orderd till the end of the month.

hey i have sat in both seats ...the srd's are awsome just make sure you get ones that are swade and tweed not the cloth ones ..you can pay alot and get ones made out of **** material...they do make ones that are made of the same material as your stock itr seats ..but there kind of expensive ...sparco are nice for the money.

 

Ok question to all the people whom have the SRD's or Torino's.
I am 6'7 185lbs.
I am looking for a aftermarkert seat that will sit lower the the stock civic seats. I have sat in the SRD's before and love'em, I am just curious to the ones with the Torino's.. What is you take on that seat? What is your overall opinion on it.

I am looking to by either set of seat in the next week or so I am just looking for input on them..

i have jdm itr recaros, they fit me perfect and im 5'10 135lbs

 

i have red recaros..im about 5'10" but pretty slim..i sit a lil higher than my ITR seats but imo they're comfy
