hi guys, im looking to get rid of my crx and change to either an ef sedan or to a toyota corolla (80s rear wheel drive) in the near future. im kinda tired of worrying about theft as i already had it broken into (i guess they didnt notice that my steering wheel was not attached). how many of you have had thefts or break ins to your ef sedan. if i go ef sedan, its just gonna get a jdm front end, recaro front seats, suspension, and rims. just trying to get to get more information so i can make an educated decision.

 

Well considering a sedan has just the same parts a CRX does, they're just as easy to steal, and the fact that a hooked up sedan probably stands out a LOT more than a hooked up CRX does, I'd say switching to a sedan purely based on issues of theft isn't very responsible.

If your car is hooked up, and it's a Honda, chances are you're goingn to get broken into.

I've owned a lot of Hondas, and it doesn't matter what I've got, I still have break ins every few months. My sedan has been broken into just as many times as my Si was, or my EG hatchback was. It's part of the game, and most of us realize that. It sucks, yes, but it's going to happen. No way to stop it!

 

yeah, true, i had my old bug stolen and my old gsr broken into. freakin theives. hmmmm. i wonder if they came out with an alarm with a gps tracker, i dont trust the police with the lo jack. damn. well there goes that idea, welli guess any care is prone to it, its just that hondas are number 1.

 

locked my keys in my sedan ... took me like 20 minutes with a coat hanger to get in.. i could do it in less then 2 minutes now.
