Prayoonto and Law named WD-40 co-crew chiefs of the race at the ETown Springnationals
Hell of a event and year so far for the Clutchmasters Team.
PRAYOONTO AND LAW NAMED WD-40 NHRA SPORT COMPACT CO-CREW CHIEFS OF THE RACE FOR THE NITTO NHRA SPORT COMPACT SPRINGNATIONALS
GLENDORA, Calif. – Norris Prayoonto and Jeremy Law, co-crew chiefs of the Clutchmasters Racing Team, have been named the WD-40 NHRA Sport Compact Crew Chiefs of the Race for the Nitto NHRA Sport Compact Springnationals in Englishtown, N.J.
Prayoonto (Honda Tuning All Motor) and Law were successful in guiding their team to several accomplishments at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J., May 6-7. Overall the team won three races: Prayoonto had his first NHRA win; Loan Nguyen won, and set both time and speed records for the BFGoodrich Tires Street Stock class; Mat Keller in the Urbanracer.com Sport FWD class won his third event. Also, Saul Salceda was able to maintain his points lead in Honda Tuning All Motor.
“It’s cool to win,” said Prayoonto. “We are definitely not the biggest team out there, like those with twenty people. We only have the four drivers and two team members. So, it feels good to be recognized.”
By winning the WD-40 NHRA Sport Compact Crew Chief of the Race award, Prayoonto and Law, will be honored at the opening ceremonies, Sunday, May 21 at the Northeast NHRA Sport Compact Nationals.
“I use WD-40 to take burnout marks off the side of the car. It works great for that,” continued Prayoonto. “I also use it to loosen and lubricate bolts.”
At each race stop for the NHRA Xplōd Sport Compact Racing Series the WD-40 Company will offer an award to recognize the NHRA Sport Compact Crew Chief of the Race. The winning Crew Chief of the Race will earn $250, a plaque, and will receive recognition during the opening ceremonies at each NHRA Sport Compact Series event and on NHRAsportcompact.com.
