B18a1 - 89 Hatch - A few questions
Ok so after (beinging an idiot) selling my 88 hatch with B18 sittign inthe garage a year ago.. I'm back... (yes they all come back)
I did alot of research last year and had alot of notes...
but having since reloaded the computer... the notes are gone...
So i need a few refreshers...
I now have a 89 DX Hatchback, with no motor or tranny (dang.. gonna have to fix that)
I have in the garage:
91 B18A1 with tanny
Resister box
ECU out of the Acura
Throttle cable off acure
I KNOW i need
Mounts
Axles
Wiring conversion
Hot Blonde
Beer
Few misc parts, oil etc...
Now my question...
What freaking axles do i use... I know I am supposed to be able to use the 90-91 acura ones.. but do I need the interm shaft? Do i need the knucles(or other part) as well since it's a DX?
Also what seals for the axles? Should they match the axles or the tranny?
Did i miss something up top.
I've googles away and am not finding alot of the articles i remember seeing about a year ago... (maybe i'm using the wrong words?)
If anyone can shed soem light that would be very helpful!

90-91 integra axles and intermediate shafts are what you need. Just remove the dust seals from the hubs and you should be set. The only cars you need to change hubs on are the STD and HF model civic and crx.
thanks,
STD isnt the DX though correct?
I read a post about needing some bushings on the shift linkage off an acure 90-93...
anyone have that part number?

ALSO...
I've found a couple good B16 writeups.. but they have VTEC...
Would the B18A1 be the "same" write up minus the vtec...?
I'm a chevy guy.. bare with me...
