I need a replacement.
Does the 5th gen prelude use the same abs unit. What other abs units are compatible with my car. Does honda make better abs units that would swap into my car?
I talked to my mechanic and he said it would cost me 1000 for a rebuilt unit and 200 dollars worth of labor plus tax.

Does anybody know where I could get a cheaper unit

This is the first mechanical part to brake on my accord

 

I think you can always try to call a junkyard to see if they got the replacement part. cheapest way maybe? good luck

 

units in good condition are hard to come by

that is why i was wondering if abs units from other vehicles were compatible like the civic or prelude
