What is the quarter mile time on a stock 94 prelude vtec?

 

14.7 with God at the wheel.

 

Most 4th gen VTEC's run low 15's bone stock.

 

15.1 with car and driver at the wheel

 

ive seen it rated 15.1 but other places ive seen 15.3 on the quartermile.

 

I have seen 14.8-14.9 with I,E but it all depends on the driver.

 

Your times will also vary greatly depending on track and conditions. If you are at higher altitude, you will really have to push to see low 15s - also driver skill is very important.

i heard if you put a type R sticker on a stock vtec prelude you should run mid 13s

 

i heard that if you have chrome windshield wiper nozzles that bling the suns reflection in your eyes then you run 12s.

illusion, are you retarded? It isnt chrome windshield wiper nozzles..... IT IS THE LED ONES THAT MAKE YOU RUN 12s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

my friend took his 94 SI up to the track and ran a 15.5 on his second run and he just has an intake. are you telling me that the vtecs run only .2-.4 seconds faster than his Si on average? that seems really slow for the vtec.

 

and theres no way that si's with an intake run 15.5 on average.

Then again, without seeming like I'm bragging, I'm an excellent driver. General rule of thumb on all my friends cars so far has been this:
give me 4-6 passes in a car (including letting me *tweak* the setup to suit me) and I'll beat the best time of the night in it.

 

I ran a 15.1 @ 93 in my stock '94 with 85,000 miles.

I ran a 14.7 @ 96 in the same car with a CAI.
