Tps code coming up

Default Tps code coming up

went the drive my car then when i started the driving the rpms keep goin up and down... then it threw a code.. went and got a code checker and it said it was the tps sensor..
after i drove it for a bit i think the rmps stop revvin up and down..Its been rain here for the past week, could taht have anything to do with anything.... or is normal for a bad tps sensor to work and sometimes not work

yes, if the sensor is on it's way out... it will often work, then not. Same thing is happening in one of my cars. Just gotta get time to fix it.

with you tps try to move it around get the 2 screws loos and move it and see if it helps that what fixed mine it was probably just dirty

It probably just needs to be reconfigured. I had the same problem once. It was just set at too high of an ohm load. tweaked it back down to normal specs and its fine.

yes, we had to use a dremel tool to cut a flathead screwdriver slot in them because they dont have any kind of head on them... well some are different than others. dremel tool/hacksaw should do the trick
