I just picked up a 98 CRV yesterday and I noticed that it vibrates alot. I can feel it in the steering wheel and if i open the hood the dipstick is shaking. Are they all like that?

 

mine is a 98 and it does the dipstick shake
but the wheel shake might be alignment or tire balance

 

When is it vibrating? While driving or just at idle?

Is your chech engine light on or flashing? It sounds like you have an engine running problem. Have you (or anybody) chaged the plugs or wires recently? And did you get a "deal of a lifetime" on this?

 

lol no, I wish it was a deal of a lifetime. At least I didnt get raped on it though.
We just bought it a few days ago. I havent really had a chance to mess with it too much. its only got 77k miles on it though so should be in good condition. Hopefully will check it out some more soon.

 

check the tires have them balanced it could make a huge differance if not it doesnt cost that much so you wont realy lose
