Well it almost happened to 00 PY #0148......My car was in my Workplace parking lot and around 1:15 PM a co- worker of mine going to lunch saw two spanish guys one inside my car and the other rocking my car back and forth in the parking spot trying to pop the clutch...my co-worker gave them a look and really wasn't sure if it was me working on my car so as he was leaving he decided to park and block the entrance just to make sure it was me leaving.....Well BIG thanks for my friend who installed a little extra layer of security on the car ...My co-worker than called me on my cell phone to see if i was in the building and since i wasn't he then told me what was going and called the police...when he went back to see what was going on ..they were gone....So here is cool part ....one of these Jerkoffs got cut and left blood on my car in two spots and County CSI also was able to get 6 prints and one piece of hair with the bulb that was left behind jamed near the window jam....THe damage is minorr..Looks like I need a new alarm , Ignition, and maybe new computer ..Not sure yet!!! I'm just glad she wasn't taken....2morrow Night i'm going to pick up a beater to drive everyday.....
I'lll keep you guys posted as to what the DNA results were and if they found these ********!

I guess instead of them pushing the car into the middel of the parking lot so that it doesn't look that obvious the tried just backing up the car and pushing foward to see if they could pop the clutch that way...my car was moved about 2 feet to the left when i saw where they left it.. F*CKIN Bastards..I hope the prints match and they get locked up!

Damn, ITRs will never get a rest from thieves! Those guys deserve some old west justice! Glad you still have it with only the minor damages! I loved that video of you taking off across the parking lot, watched it many times Hate to think of that car being stripped. Best of luck with the investigation!!
If you don't mind me asking, what alarm system did you have on it and how did they bypass/disable it? I'm trying to plan out my security layers and alarm system installation before getting an ITR. If you'd rather not comment, I understand. Good Luck!

I will tell you which alarm to get...none. Mechanical layers like the clutch lock and thick metal wheel boot are the best approach in my opinion. Fuel cut next. Maybe then worry about the alarm. But before all of those layers, make sure you have the FIRST layer, a garage. Do all of this, and you might own your car for a while.
