Default Relocation on FRONT PLATE - 88 Crx Wings West kit - HOW?

Lets start off with a pic

I just got pulled over for no front plate and it made me be late for my dinner reservation which kinda sucked, I know with this car Im going to be pulled over a lot so lets save me $110.

Thats how the car looks now (minus the hood since it flew off at 130)

I dont want to just drill it into the stock location of the bumper and mount it dead center, bit of an eye sore, will block the intercooler a bit.

I want to relocate it to the bottom right I think but am unsure on how to do it. I dont want to drill into the bumper at all really, the top turn signal should be fully visible and I cant squeeze any bracket up there since the light fits so tight

How would you relocate the front plate on this car?

Thanks

Zip ties are your friend. Might not look pretty, but are easy to remove, and don't require and drilling if you can find a good place to wrap them around.

I just ordered a porsche license plate bracket. Found it on ebay for $15. SOmething like that would work but you would have to bolt it to something. You could also make your own. Not hard at all. Just cut out your brackets and bolt one end to the metal bumper and the other to the plate.

Honestly I really like the yellow lights but they are gonna get you pulled over unless you are in France. Nevermind that they are probably safer you must conform

Got me pulled over twice in the 3 days ive had the car

once she just noticed them and pulled me over for not having a hood

second time today a local cop pulled me over for no front plate, yellow lights and no hood

Both times I played the my hood was stolen (flew up at the windshield and I removed it) and got no tickets, but I did miss a dinner date

So I wanna relocate to save a ticket and maybe some hassle

you should really switch back to the regular headlights, those yellow ones really stand out and it'll get you ticketed!

go to a hardware store and get 2 L brackets and mount it at the bottom of the bumper on side. i did that with one of my civics when i shaved off the holes and those bumps. cost like a buck fifty and the holes you drill you wont see.

OR

you could spend way to much on some "JDM" bracket to do the same thing.

booo JDM........

yaaaa HOME DEPOT!

use the turn signal screws. make a bracket that goes between the kit and the bumper light. just have the piece of metal come out a bit and bend down.

I ziptied mine to the back of the passenger visor and I fold it down and it's visible. I got pulled over and got a warning ticket and the state trooper said nothing about the front plate location..but this is in Texas so I dunno.

So what your saying is you can't/won't mount it anywhere on your bumper and everyone idea that gets thrown up is pretty much gonna get shot down.

Just mount it somewhere and get over it
