Hey guys.
I've been pretty set on getting a premium white pearl rsx-s. but now that i've looked at the interior i'm a little reluctant since it has that sort of tan color to it. so my question to you guys is should i get the premium white pearl and deal with the interior? or should i go with the vivid blue pearl or magnesium metallic and get the (imo) nice ebony interior?

i would def go with the ebony cloth but not the vivid blue i guess if u really lke it but it look really diff in the direct sunlight

i dont no how feasable this is but get the pearl white and then swap out the tan interior. i think it would be sweet. And i dont no why but i thought it would always be cool to have a blue car or something with tan leather. or in ur case a white car with black leather
I was pretty torn between the NBP and white. I went with the NBP since I already had a white car before and the lights looked really nice (IMO) against the black. The reason I didn't go with the white was the tan interior. But if it was white outside with a black inside, it would be sitting in my driveway now.
I say go with what feels right. And yea you could try to find a black interior and swap it out. Maybe you can find some one who wants to trade.

most of the dealers here dont have the blue pearl i just found out. and they aren't receiving anymore either because the color "isn't popular and doesn't have a high resale value"
so i'm thinkin i'm gonna talk to the dealer and see if i can get him to install the black interior for me for however much money. i think it would be pretty sweet to have white with the black interior and have it covered by warranty still

You can get the pearl white rsx-s and swap out the interior. A good number of people have done it especially with the black interior.
Swapping the interior is not really hard. Just time consuming.

so i just heard back from the dealership. they can't swap out the interior for me and if i'm reading his words correctly they can't sell me an ebony interior set. he said i should go to an upholstery company. so anybody know of any other places i can get a complete ebony interior set for an rsx-s?
Hey if you're in Socal you may want to consider the tan interior - temperatures will be a lot cooler with it over ebony. I didn't want the tan interior at first either, but it grew on me. It gives the car a more "luxury" feel to it. Also if you are keeping the car for a while, the tan interior will look newer. Just take a look at some used 02 or 03 RSX's on the market, you'll notice that the cracks and wear on the ebony interiors are much more noticeable than the lighter color.
If you are really set on a black interior, you'll have to look at the salvage yards, or find someone who wants a tan interior. An idea I was originally thinking was to look for someone in the area who is selling their '05 or '06 and see if they are willing to swap interiors before they sell it or trade it in.
Good luck on your decision, and good choice of exterior color! Pdubp is the fastest

I cant believe you are so worried about this when you are not even buying the car. If someone gave me a RSX when I was your age I wouldnt have given a rats *** about the interior color.

Hi,
Sorry to kinda switch the topic, but I'm a new member and I can't post a new thread yet
Anyways, I'm looking for a new '06 5spd RSX in either VBP or NBP. The best OTD price I've gotten so far is from Sierra Acura of Alhambra, which is $20,689..how's that offer? Can I bring that down by a few hundred? or am I being crazy heh. Does anyone have any experience from purchasing a car from them?
thnx guys

Sierra Acura of Alhambra is the best price i've found too. make sure you talk to Carl Cheng, he's the fleet manager. i'm pretty sure he wont have any in the VBP but he does have the NBP.
and its final...im not getting an rsx anymore cuz of some bullshit from my aunt. i will soon be the proud driver of a 1995 4runner. woohoo

ya, I've been dealing with Minh Do/Carl Cheng over at Sierra Acura. I have another question
Thomas Acura in Covina offered me this today..
"We just received a Black/Ebony 2006 5-speed manual transmission RSX with cloth. It has not yet been test driven.
Based on our current special pricing for this vehicle the out the door is $20,669.08* based on Los Angeles County tax if that is where you reside.
I am also including free wheel locks, paint polish and splash guards (the retail price for these items is $495)."
Doesn't the car already come with those items? I'm not sure about the paint polish though (I guess you don't have to wax the vehicle for 6 months according to the sales rep? not sure if that's true though) I also don't want mudguards..are those things added into the OTD price? I feel like I'm being tricked..advice pls, ty

usually cars do not come with wheel locks or mud/splash guards. paint polish comes on all brand new cars i believe. according to the email u received, it seems like they are giving u all those items for free, meaning ur OTD price will not go up.
the price he is telling u for those 3 things seems kinda high cuz wheel locks and mudguards are only 140. if u dont want mudguards try bargaining with him and trading those for interior floor mats or a trunk tray or something.
good luck

Does anyone have any exp purchasing a demo car? The dealer stated that all their RSX's are demos and under 10 miles. He offered me $20,689 OTD for a 5spd RSX.
P.S. Is it possible I can try to get it a lil lower? or am I already getting a decent deal? thnx in advance
