My buddy has a '98 Civic EX. The problem that the car is having is that whenever the fan is on there is a gasoline smell that comes from the passenger side vent vents of the front. When the fans are not on the smell is not present.

He has had the car in two dealerships and another shop for other things and has mentioned the problem. The shops have pressure tested the systems and haven't found anything.

Has anyone had a similar problem that they have been able to identify.
