~~~~~~~Anyone using Bubby Club Stage 4's camshafts?~~~~~~~
I just wondering if anyone out there is using these BC4 cams in a stock B18C or any b series and have had any problems with them....Or if you've heard anything, please let me know as well.
I'm deciding on which cams to get and i think these are going to be first choice.
Once you go with bigger cams such as the BC4, its wise to match it up with upgraded valvetrain. To really take advantage of the power of the cam, you need to tune it for the powerband and its usually higher than the stock rev limiter, thus requiring upgraded stronger valvetrain to withstand the higher lift and prevent valve float.
We've used BC4s on stock bottom end GSRs with upgraded valvetrain and the cams and they do pretty well.
That's nuts!!
I am planning on getting the package deal with the BC4 camshafts, BC cam gears, Dual Valve springs and the titainum retainers....
But is that dyno right? Sorry, i'm not trying to be an A$$hole or anything....I honestly didn't think that these cam would gain that much power.... What other bolt-on's do you have? header, exhaust, CAI...???
Cams with the proper tuning can increase power insanely, especially on a 2 liter setup. But yes, different dyno's do read differently. 170 whp at SP at night. 180 at Prostreet's all motor shoot out the weekend after, in the middle of a hot afternoon. With BC3+ cams that is.
