on hmotorsonline they sell the 96-97 integra TypeR Steering wheel ive seen it in the eg hatch and the integra but they say Dc Ef and eg Only has anybody tried this before in a Ek? any input is apreciated Thanx

 

It won't work on a '96-00 Civic.

CTR wheels look the same as ITR wheels, but will fit on the '96-00 hub.

 

CTR wheels are also twice the price for some reason...

Because they are harder to find and most of them were the SRS wheels.

Then instead of an EK9 wheel, consider an AP1 S2000 steering wheel, a DC5-R Integra steering wheel, or an EP3-R Civic steering wheel. Or even an aftermarket wheel if you don't mind ditching the airbag.

Correct, AP1, DC5R, and EP3R wheels are hot.

And all three will bolt right up and wire right into a '96-00 Civic.

Also aren't the Honda Insight steering whels the same as the s2k?

The Insight wheel is the same as the AP1 wheel, but without the leather wrap and cruise control buttons. CVT Insights instead have buttons for some transmission functions.

 

got mine for 300....i dont know if cruise control works because i have a 98 DX and dont have CC but im sure you could get it to work.
