Default Temperature and Fuel Gauges Need Calibration?

I was taking apart the cluster to do LED lighting, got it half done, but it back together, the fuel ran all the way high and the temperature worked fine. Took it apart again to do the other side and now coolant is all the way high.

The coolant needle drops down without power and the gas needle sticks where it is like it should, what ought I to do?

Did you actually remove the fuel and temp guages fromtheir housing? If you did then it is possible you broke the fine copper wire winding, it may be that you didn't tighten all the screws IF you removed it.

I took the gauges with the clear plastic thing and black stuff as a unit out from the white housing. It's held in by 6 screws, I will try retightening next time I'm out at the car.
