Default Question about after market fuel pressure regulator

I bought one of the adjustable fuel pressure regulators that use part of the stock regulator like B&M, but this one is probably some e-bay knock off one (I bought it from a friend for like $20) Well anyways I put it in and I adjust the fuel pressure to 45psi and when I give it more than half throttle it goes down to like 40psi. I don't think that is normal but I was just wondering what other people thought. Any positive info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Also: I put the stock one and it idles at 38psi and goes to almost 45psi when I give it throttle.

those fuel pressure regulators do absoluty nothing , just leave it at the original pressure, 32-34 at idle, 40-41 at WOT

I was thinking about getting an AEM one but are they any other companys that make regulators that mount to the fuel rail besides AEM and Holley.
