First time on M&H slicks...
What can I expect? I've always ran on street tires, and this Wednesday, I'll be running on some M&H 22x8x13s via Lensos.
Start them at 10 PSi and go from there? Any particular break-in process? Feel any different going down the track?
N00b yes, but I'm just a little nervous!

Slicks will definitely be a different feel
me and mikey both went out last weekend and learned on slicks at etown
preload and make sure u got enough boost built makes all the difference in the world
practice practice practice

yea what i ment by that was
if u run 10psi, at first with tire pressure, and it spins lower more, yes, but i was saying to make sure u are launching hard, make sure boost pressure is building to leave very hard, and id say start closer to 7psi, first tiime out for us, running mid6psi
good luck

since my car doesnt make power down low, and bogged bad with them at 7 psi, it actually 60'd better with tire spin keeping the turbo in boost. the best 60' i got was a 1.73 with it spinning and 9.25 psi in the tires.
and we cannot say it enough, PRE LOAD. your final drive and axles will thank you for it.

Thanks guys!</TD></TR></TABLE>
well in that case, you will still need to wind it up pretty good, you may have to lower the pressure to around 7 ish. as john from m&h told me, start at like 9 and go down from there.

ok well in that case that your not boosted, start at 10 psi, find a good rpm to launch at, id say up above 7k, and dump clutch preloadded, see if it bogs or spins, if it spins alittle thats good, if it bogs put more air in tire, or launch harder, and keep going at it
good luck

letting the clutch out until it starts to grab. The your gears and everything are already pushing on each other so there is no "slapping" thus causing snapping. Not to mention faster mechanical reaction.

If your launching on slicks for the first time remember three things
1- PRELOAD the trans
2- leave hard "manic status"
3- cross your fingers and toes
I rember my first ride on slicks, I thought I broke my neck
