Default Short ram intakes

Just need a quick answer if a short ram intake:

1. Has any noticable power increase at all.
2. Sounds cool at all
3. Generally not a bad investment ($70)

Im a truly budget enthusiast, saved tip for a while, just wanna add a little something under the hood, all suspension so far.

Thanks for all help.

EDIT- For a 95 Civic Hatch DX, D15B7

not on a SOHC.

sure thang

if youre buying it for the sound / to let your engine breath better... yes.
while your at it, it may be cheaper to buy an ebay intake, and just plop a K&N filter on it. same thing as the name brand stuff.

1) No, you will not feel a difference
2) You will hear it (most people like the sound)
3) Good start investment (if you can go with something nicer like AEM)
Further down the road as you mod some more the intake with help and you might think about an intake manifold.

The intake im getting is an AEM SRI, something about having an ebay brand thing on my car turns me off, even if it is just a pipe and filter.

Thanks for all the help, those were the answers i was lookin for.

in all honesty... unless you live in california, you wont be noticing a difference aem, or ebay, esp on a d-series.

but if having an AEM makes u feel better, by all means go spend the extra dough. but for me... i bought a case of beer
