I recently picked up an Si cluster from a friend, and im going to install it in my eg. I found a bunch of the bulbs in my tool box, like 10 of the little black base ones and 2 of the gray larger ones. So, i figure i might as well paint them amber while replacing them. I went all over trying to find good paint but i guess im just gonna use orange krylon and paint a bunch of coats. Anyways, which ones do i paint? I took pics of the back of the cluster, if someone could use their leet paint skeelz and maybe circle the ones which need to be painted? Yes i saw the diy thread on this, but it was for painting the stock eg cluster, not the Si one.

its all the bigger brown ones that u have to make amber to light up the cluster amber

 

apparently the same friend did it in his hatch, minus the plastic cover, and it looked good.

 

isnt that cluster already amber? or did the original ones blow out?

 

Umm . . . dude . . . the EM1 cluster lights up amber already

 

haha, sweet, shows how much i know... oh wells, guess ill just do all my ones in my dash to match it then....

 

The gauge face makes it light up amber not the bulbs
