Default gsr questions????

Well i bought a 95 Gsr yesterday and it came with a mugen chipped ECU and i was just wondering what is a safe Rpm to take a gsr too it has a Type R IM and dual springs and titantium retainers and some mild port and polish work and I,H,E so that was something I was just wondering?? Another thing i ran across is I had it loose alot of power last night and it was putting out blue smoke some not alot under accel before that and alot of coolant is missing from the raditior so im figureing a blown headgasket cause all valves move and are adj properly so if you have any other suggestions please let me know thanks

blue smoke is oil burning, a little smoke is ok. Coolant will burn white. Check for leaks with a coolant pressure tester before you condem a headgasket.

many GSR motors smoke due to valve seals

if it is excessively smoking is is probably a blown head gasket

as for the RPM's you could safely take it to 9k but if you have stock cams it is totally pointless

as for the chip i would get a custom chip for the car for optimum power rather than the blind tuned mugen chip

Perform a compression and leakdown checks to asses the condition of you engine. You need to figure out what that chip in your ECU is. Mugen never made chips, so your chip is a copy. If it is a true copy, the RPM limit is set at 9000 RPM. Your valves will most likely start to float near 8400 RPM.
