invidia exhaust give or take HP?
i thnk you get like 2-3 for this dual. It drones though. In a bad way. If you want a dual, rock the HKS Hi Power, or Blitz Realize TT if you don't wanna spend soo much.
I remember reading about the mugen 2000 with intake header and exhaust and it literally showed no power gains yet it yielded a significantly faster track lap time.

i really don't udnerstand why people pay upwards of 1k to gain a horsepower or two and make their car drone.

Invidia, HKS, Apexi, Greddy, Mugen, etc. All exhausts that cost a billion dollars. They are not any better for making power compared to a large mandrel bent single exhaust that is 1/2 to 1/4 of the price of a stupid name brand exhuast.

if you are looking for power, you'll be disapointed with many exhausts that are out there for the S....single is the way to go if you want any noticeable gain in power...

that is due to the snorkle type (design) intakes... on the dyno they don't register to give power.... however, in a real life situation, (actually driving the car)... the car is shown to be faster which equates to it giving more power on a car that is actually moving.... this is due to the design... while on the dyno you're stationary.. yes you have a fan blowing in front of the car but it's not really doing anything but cooling.... while you're driving that intake is being force fed with air from the front of the car....

Weight savings too. The Mugen SS is pretty light for a dual.

Bolt on exhaust and intake parts don't really do much for S2000's as I've read on here, and as we are witnessing on this thread.
However, I do know that mugen intakes increase mid-range throttle response on B18C# applications, I'd imagine that the same goes for s2000 application.
The track times improved because of this gain in mid-range throttle response and mid-range power/torque increase. The overall power gain may not have changed much, but the mid-range is where your engines need the power to accelerate out of of corner exits more effectively.
Faster corner exits due to the mugen parts probably improved the lap times, IIRC.

it's the SEMA mugen ap2 from kingsmotorsport, right?(mugen header, intake(with mugen mouth piece), exhaust, ecm(?))
SCC ran the car in their dyno and the peak torque and hp are the same but the rest of the power band was below the stock OEM spec.
well, i guess it at least reduced some weight(plus the wallet)
another reason for not doing any NA mod, SC fund
