i just got a '99 GSR Integra. it has a RHD conversion(probably the cause of the problem). well right after i got the car, the cable on the hood latch came loose so now i cant open my hood. does anyone know of any way to open it?

bump, time for an oil change.

 

Take the splash shield off from underneath the motor, and squezze up from underneath. You have to take off the three 10 mm bolts that hold your latch on. You might have to loosen your bumper underneath to be able to gain proper access, but it is possible.

 

You can probably poke the release with a rod or by hand and push up on the hood (if necessary) from underneath to get the hood to pop.
