b series question

Default b series question

hey guys, i need to know were my b series came from .

okay its a b16a1LB i need to know the year and make and model of the car the engine came from.

this is for parts purposes, i cant get the right part for the engine because the parts stores only take make and model and not engine code.

any thing will help thanks again.

B16a1LB? order for a 95 del sol DOHC VTEC and you will be fine for motor parts, dizzy cap and axles 91 integra. what parts are you looking for?

well you asked for the whole list.

ok i need
engine mounts
distributer cap that has a 5th plugin for my ignition system
fly wheel
clutch
clutch cable mount (ls tranny)
the clutch service panel
pr3 ecu
obdo to obd1 sub harness
strut tower bolts
axels
and i think im going to need to replace my hubs too to get the axels to work

If you're going B-Series on EF/ED (1988-1991) civic/crx http://www.hasport.com has Motor Mounts for either Hydro or Cable Depending on tranmission that you have.

wow pretty penny,
umm. i have an ls tranny so that would be a cable tranny. do they carry one for a cable i looked but i couldnt find any thing.

Yes, They do.

btw: hasport is not the only company that makes mounts for B-series engine swaps into the 88-91 Civic or CRX. Their are others around, i have some hasports and i love them that is why i recommend them to others. look around on our (honda-tech sponsor sales they have some motor mount sponsors in there somewhere

heres another question what axels do i need for this swap and do i need hubs, rotors ect.

You'll need hubs if you dont have an Si Model. Don't quote me on this one the.

you only need to swap hubs if you have a CRX HF or Civc STD (4-speed model)

okay yes its an SI, so i dont have to switch out the hubs, but then that leaves the rotors. would i have to switch them, also i need the year and model and also the make of the axels that i need in this swap.
