Default Steering shakes when braking

Well a few weeks ago I started feeling that my steering shaked while braking, first I thought that was due to my rotors but after a closer inspection I noticed this:

Correct me if Im wrong but thats a ball joint right?

What do I have to replace so that the shaking is gone, that arm or the hub assembly?

Sorry I dont know the name of the steering parts

Thanks

thas an outer tie rod, thats not gonna get rid of shaking, im sure ur front end is tight, my car has 200k miles on it and i've never had to replace front end parts yet.

Well maybe this picture can explain a little better:

When I lifted the car and the tire was still on, it felt loose and I saw movement where the tie rod connects with the hub

I have no idea what your pics are showing, with your explanations, but your first pic, your tie rod end is not in. I hope you actually took that out before the pic. If you had a nut on there, and there is still movement, replace tie rod ends. Yes they do go bad. I just replaced both of mine. With you wheel still on, jack the car up and push and pull on the wheel and see where the play is. If the whole tie rod moves when you push from left to right, it is inner tie rod end. If it doesn't and there is play, outers. If you have ply when you push up and down then could be a ball joint.
