Default wiring slim fan

on the slim fan it has a red wire and a black ground wire
on the stock integra fan it has blue and black wire

do i wire the blue wire to the red wire together and leave black wire as ground?
or
do i just wire blue to the red and black to black wire together?

if you you instructions that will be great

Hey, you can connect them any way you want.
The only difference is the way you want the fan to move. One way will be a pusher and the other will be a puller.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

Also, just connect them in pairs. and switching the polarities will switch the pusher/puller style.

Black should be ground. If you're mounting it in the stock fan location, connect the black wires together and the red and blue together. Stock fan is a puller, it pulls air through the radiator. If you mount your fan in front of the radiator, you have to swap the wires and flip the blades around so your fan pushes air through the radiator. After you install it, test it to make sure the air flows in the correct direction.

Is it really necessary to flip the blades around?

Years ago I actually bought a universal fan from the zone or Advance auto parts and it came as a pusher, so I had to flip the fan blade to use as a puller like stock. I don't know if other brands of fans need to be flipped or not, I think it depends on the fan design and the instructions included.

There is a vendor in the performance forum that sells electric fans for cheap, I have already purchased one and I will buy another soon. They are much more solid than the ones at the auto parts stores that are weak and flimsy. When you mount the flimsy fans to the radiator, they bend over time and start to rub on themselves or the radiator. Make sure to get a fan that has some rigidity built into the fan cage.

This is pusher, wire the fans so the black(fan) goes to pink(car) and the blue(fan) goes to black(car). If that makes sinse.

I didn't switch the blades on my pusher fans. They work just fine, so it might just be depending on what fan you use.
