Default Magnaflow Question

Ok so yesturday I went out and got Magnaflow system put on my EF civic. I asked for 2.5 piping along with a high flow cat. All I have to say is that it sounds absolutely wonderful. Its not to loud at Idle, and sounds perfect withint normal RPM range. The only problem is, is that when I WOT, and I hit above 4k, it sounds like its snapping? and it sounds really gay. Almost like its "blistering" i dunno really how to explain it. Ill get a sound clip. If you do know what im talkin about then, will this go away as I put wear and tear on the new cat? or should i get a resonator?

Thanks

You really need a resonator if the noise bothers you. Check this thread out for ideas:

I am currently running a DC header, 2.25" piping, summit glasspack and a flowmaster deltaflow muffler. I just purchashed the hushpower muffler from flowmaster to install in place of the summit res. I have grown to enjoy quiet exhaust systems, well not too quiet. I need to know when my car is running, etc. There are many products out there that will quiet you exhaust tone alot. The straight through type setups are going to be alot louder and annoying then a good baffled set-up. Plus you really don't get alot more power with the straight through on lower displacement engines just alot more noise. Take it for what it's worth and post a sound clip for everybody to reference.

going to take a clip right now, dont get me wrong i absolutely love the sound of my car, its just snappy at high rpms when i get on it. Normal driving its completely fine. By the way EXHAUST SPECIALTIES did my exhaust and they did an absolutely WONDERFUL job. Everything was custom fitted, and they even asked me how i wanted my welds lol.
