how is the horn wired for the JDM ITR non-srs steering wheel? does it send an electrical signal through that brass colored plate on the back?

 

ok this is a sort of pain in the *** problem. It depends on what kind of car you have.

I cant remember the years. but basically there are two different SRS types out there.

One has a grey plug and the older ones dont. that is the first thing to start off with. I didnt and so I was scratching my head for the longest time when I searched for how to wire it up they keep talking about a grey plug that I didnt have.

Search for it and you will find them.
