After andrew tried to test out the grass and then hit a berm going backwerds (bumper has been on for a week after the last one was taken off at Gingermen in MI)




Brand new $1900 Powerhouse Amuse exhaust bent up into bumper when he hit the berm backwards.

using my awesome auto body skills i'm learning at Wyotech me and andrew get to work fixing the damage. first we ripped what was left of the side skirts off


Next we attacked the front bumper with zip ties. 3 honda owners, you should have known zip ties would be involved at some time.

what was left of the skirts...into the trash they went

after a couple more laps we noticed he was melting the bumper and we picked this off the muffler.

pocket knife fixed that

G's B16, he kept getting mad props from all the guys at the track and told him "check modified.com, i got some good shots of your car" badassness

That's pretty cool, I saw the red NSX and red M3 in Fairfax while I was on lunch break yesterday. Both sounded very nice driving out of the gas station.

Amazing fun at Beaverun yesterday. I like the track, just wish i had a few mods on my car to go faster. Definitely getting r comps soon...

 

actully there wasn't a ton a people watching us work on the us, alot of people offered any help needed. this was my personal first time at at a road coarse event and i can't wait to go back. hopefully next time the hatch will be ready to get a few laps in

last time i saw him (hinsdale oasis, in chicago) it had a diff. bumper (i think) and an owned fender)

for a dude who DRIVES his cars (his old ITR too)

looks like a great weekend...i look forward to driving that track sometime.

 

yeah, this bumper was removed by Gingermen last week



and the fenders are fucked from the tires hitting them when driving up his driveway, he's got these dry carbon C-West fenders on the way.

 

No offense, but maybe he should learn to stay on track before he keeps buying aftermarket bodywork.

i think it's the Groupe M Air Cleaner Intake, AKA: the whale nuts intake

Hey Jimmy, I saw your focus in an issue of GRM, either last issue or the 1 before that. I know it was yours cuz it had a nice dent on the bumper

I wish I could of made it up, but didn't have time. I will be there next month and hope to run my 1st HC race.
