Just out of curiousity, like the title says, who competes with their ITR?
Just when you think that every topic has been covered, from "which intake is the best" to,"what's the best 'security' "; let's get down to the nitty gritty. Other than daily driving, how do you utilize your Integra Type Race?
Disclaimer: I don't do any of the fun stuff yet, just autocross.

Actually most people on H-T that race seem pretty humble. After all, we're still driving Hondas not Porsches.

Define "race".
Does it include events held on a racetrack in which no times are posted and no finishes are announced, such as the HPDE (high performance driver education) events (including the ITR Expo)?
Does it include those who take their cars to the dragstrip?
Does it include those who autocross?
Does it include those who (gasp!) participate in street races?
Or are you only referring to competition events held on purpose-built racetracks, in which times are posted and winners are announced? And, if so, must those events be part of a series (SCCA, Honda Challenge, etc) or can they be simple "club races"?

Virtually all of my driving with the R is now competing. ~12-13 local autox events, 3-4 Divisional autox events, and 1-2 Natl autox events this year.
I love it, and the car loves it too

HPDE and autox (kinda lost interest in autox though), no daily driving and no street racing
I don't really consider either racing but they sure are fun

i drive in hpde's, but never have been in a competition "race" environment.
like ken outlines, race is a "strong" word. it really depends what you mean.
in a nutshell, if you haven't taken your type-r out on the track in a safe and controlled environment (maybe just even once!), you really haven't experienced what the car really is about. i say this not only for our cars... you will really appreciate any well designed car on the track for that matter.
as i iterated to myself back 5 years ago, after having gone through my first track day experience, you'll NEVER see the limit of your car on the street no matter how fast you think drive (aside from those who irresponsibly exceed their driving abilities and crash their car on pedestrian roads). i wholeheartedly appreciated my car a lot more since.
again, i'd say this for ANY car, be it our "precious"
type-r...or what have you.

1 HPDE under my belt. May 22 will be #2 and June 19 will be #3. I've been convinced to hit up the local 1320 track next Friday too; just for ***** 'n' giggles
No plans to compete on any professional level.
