I got 3 white rims, one was destroyed in an accident, one on the way in prolly a different color. I was wondering what i could use to paint them or do I have to sand em prime em and paint em.

sand them, prime them, sand them again and start paintin

 

I would definately sand, prime, paint if you want the finish to last as long as possible and come out as smooth as possible. I wouldnt paint directly onto fresh powdercoat if thats what your asking. You dont have to sand all of the powdercoat off just scuff it up with some 600 grit or so.

 

thanks I didnt wanna just throw some paint on there to find out but I definately didn't want to sand the whole thing down with out checking first either.
