Default B18b, need to check plastigage clearance but sorta confused.

Hey guys, I'd like to check the clearance on my rod bearings today on the b18b1 motor.
At the shop I printed off from Mitchell On Demand, the engine rebuild specs.

it says that for the rod bearing clearance it should be:
standard - .0002in (.005mm)
service - .0004in (.010mm)

now when I look at the green plastigage package, it ranges from .001-.003in and .025-.076mm

now my question is this...if the service limit is .010mm, how am I to figure that out if the plastigage on the mm side reads the lowest of .025mm

I've search through threads and found some answers but can't figure this out.

Does anybody know if those standard and service limits are correct for a b18b integra engine??

please and thanks

The clearances are 0.0008"-0.0015". Limit is 0.002".

but what confuses me is the plastigage only ranges from .00X-.00X

where you said, that the clearance is .000X, there is one more zero there compared to what the plastigage paper lists

You don't need the clearances as tight as 0.0008". For most motors you should shoot for around 0.0015", which is right in the middle of the green plastigage scale. I run my motors between 0.0015" and 0.002". The specs you got from Mitchell are wrong, BTW.
