quick question on OBD I and II

Default quick question on OBD I and II

my bros. car currently has a obd 1 harness conversion from his 1998 Ls Ecu. Will be swapping a Gsr with built Ls block, so basically ls/vtec T. will I have to change back to obd II ? head we bought is from a 98-01 GSR. thanks for the replies

oh yea almost forgot. if I do have to chang back to OBD II would i have to get a P28 or another ecu?

stick with obd 1 since its tuner friendly. For an lsvtec, I'd recommend running a socketed/chipped ecu and then getting it tuned.

since you are using stock gsr manifold, obd1 is fine.
