Holes in bumper worth while or worthless?

Holes in bumper worth while or worthless?
Was wondering if anyone has ever tested the theory about the holes in the back bumper. Is it really worth drilling holes in the back bumper looks kind of tacky if you ask me. If anyone has done a test on this i would really like to know.

When you are running a 9 second quater mile and the car is stricktly track, yes. Otherwise it is another stupid mod that morons do and insist that destroying their bumber was worht it.

or just buy another bumper and swap them between street / track use

I would rather fabricate a lightweight composite under-body tray for the rear than cut a bunch of holes in an otherwise perfectly good bumper cover.
