Props to Tom at Camp1320!!!!!
So it was last week n my headgasket decided to take a **** on me. Saturday started wrenching to fix the problem but for some reason the stocc headbolts wouldnt catch the threading..after about 3 hours of trying to figure out why its not catching I decided to just give up n call it a night. Fucc it.. ill finish it tommorrow. So its sunday at 11 in the morning and still having the same problems...damn headbolt wont catch the threading. I figure the only solution would be to get some arps n for sure it would work..The only thing is that what shop on sunday is open to sell me them.. Im in the heart of imports ( San Gabriel ) and not 1 shop is open.. you would think that since most people save the weekend to work on ur motor that atleast 1 shop would be open but no. So i call Tom on his celly over at Camp1320 in Chastworth and its his day off and of course he has his shop closed also. At the time he was in los angeles doing sumthin. So he tells hes busy at the moment but if if wait till 3pm he'll meet me at the shop n get what i needed to finish my motor. So at 3pm im down there n he shows up...opens the gates..gets me the arps n im off to finish...Now thats a shop and especially a guy that knows service. Ive been dealing with Tom for about a year now n he always is lookin out for the racer. For him to take time on his day off n drive all the way bacc to chatsworth n open his shop is service. MAD
PROPS TO YOU HOMEBOY N GOOD LOOKIN OUT!!!

glad to hear camp1320 has good service. my question is, did the head studs fix the problem? it sounded to me like the threads in the block might have been stripped. good luck!
yah dude..actually wat i ended up doing since i didnt have the threading tool was jess kept going in and out with the bolt to re-thread it... a lil patience and 4 hours n it was fixed..hahahhaha..definitely the hardest way to rethread it..but didnt have a choice.. but all good n motor runs like a champ again

Toms a damn good guy. All my parts have came from there to TN..... Few months ago call him few minutes prior to closing and he held up the UPS man to ship my parts
does tom ever close? He sent me the wrong throttle body a while ago and it was both our fault as the power plus throttle bodies will not work on the 94 up gsr you have to convert to the r throttle body. I got one for a b17 i believe. He sent me a polished one and no extra cost. Good guy.
Man I love to hear stuff like that. It really make me think there's hope for us.
Props to Tom
They (camp1320) are on the list of people to but from.

yeah when I was working at a shop in Riverside we got a lot of parts from Tom. and since he knew that we worked all day (10 to 6) and it was a 2 hour drive to his shop, he would stay open late for us when I called and told him I was coming in.
Also has the best prices and everything is always in stock!
