Default need help with ecu serial # Please look

what car, transmission and year is this ecu from. JDM or USDM? Thanks in advance.

so you think that's what the C stands for? the usdm ecus have an A right?

first letter = country of orgin
J = Japan
C= Canada
A=USA
G=Europe

Yours is Canada

It's a 1994-1995 (OBD1) Canadian GSR ECU. There shouldn't be any difference.

true...BUT, the jdm gsr ecu's have a speed govenor, unlike the usdm gsr ecu's

True, but he asked the difference between the CDM and USDM ECUs
