I was wondering what kind of power these things can really get. a guy at my school has been bugging me to race him and he caims he has 435whp without nos. To me that seems pretty high (even supercharged). Is that amount of HP even possible on a stock block? he wants to race me both @ LACR and then a road track of my choice both times for $$$. I was just wondering if he was telling the truth or could just trying to intimidate me from racing him.

 

I have yet to see that much power on an AV6.

I figured he was bullshitting me but since I really only know about d & B series motors I thought I should ask. The mods I know he has are comptech headers, supercharger(probally a comptech, at an unkown boost level), custom 3" exhuast and a direct port NX system(he claims it's just a 75 shot). that's really it that would be performance oriented.

Nowhere near the 430whp that he claims.
