Default pm8 running a ZC

A buddy just bought a hatch with a DOHC ZC and it runs fine but for its mileage and all but its not that powewrful. We looked all over it and couldn't find anything that appeared to be loose or missing. I suggested looking at the ecu, to see which one he was running and it was a HF ecu (pm8). Haven't hooked any other ecu up to it yet, but could this be the major power robber?!?!

yes, i know the ecu runs a 8 valver, but could it have created any other problems by using it?

thanks for any help!

Chances are your running way lean, I'd stop right now before you do any damage. Get a PM7 or PM6 and you should be set. You can also use and integra ECU, I dont know the code though.

BTW, your friend can check out http://www.thezcr.com for a ton of ZC info.
