Default Been on the rolling road today

Well i've been trying to find out what engine mods my integra has, found out today it has high lift cams in and a different throttle body.

Got it it on the rollers and it kicked out:

215.4bhp@flywheel

174.7bhp@ the wheels

162.5NM tourque

Was quite pleased with that.

Will put a pic of the graph up later

Love those tail lights. Anyone know what it would cost me to get a pair?

The rear lights are standard.

Is the transmission loss supposed to be that high?

It's funny to see how the bhp is estimated. There are so much variations in the estimates. Personally I think 215hp way too optimistic considering what you actually measured was 174whp.

But 174whp is a nice number anyway considering you R is near stock.

What kind of dyno did you use? (usually printed on top of the dyno sheet)

I know you shouldn't compare numbers because of the huge number of variables between dynos.... but I'll tell you mine anyway

I wouldnt be sure you have upgraded cams unless you physically measured the cam lobes though. 175 is pretty standard for an ITR with I/H/E... thats what I made, and I'm sure I have stock cams.

Well, some guy told me ITRs loose 10%. Antoher told me 16%.

And there you have it in a nut shell ; No one can possibly know exactly how much hp YOUR car is loosing through the transmission. It depends on so many factors like oil, milage etc.

That's why it's no point at all estimating bhp. The only real number you'll ever get from a rolling road is the whp number.
