Break In

I Got 515 miles on MY06... is it smart to let her loose yet or should i just go by normal break in procedure..... its hard not to be able to unleash her.

Your motor should be fine; its the rest of the drivetrain and suspension that needs to settle.

Wait it out, it's not worth it.

waited til i hit 1500 before vtec on MY06 , after that vtec all the way baby. dam its fun

my dealer told me to drive it like i stole it. no problems after stealing it 25k ago...but i didnt go crazy with it, just having fun

I could only last until 800 miles....then I let her rip on the track at an open lapping session.

I couldn't resist on the way home from an SF trip. 750 miles and she saw VTEC.
