600RR stopping distance (and a quick update)
Does anyone know the 60-0 MPH braking distance of an 03-04 600RR? I've looked, and have seen it before .. but now that I need it, I can't find it.
I'm looking for it for my lawsuit. The other party has an accident reconstructionist, who "determined" i was going 60mph, and from his diagrams, it looks like he thinks that i couldn't stop to avoid the accident with about 280 feet from me, to the car.
The lady i hit said that she stopped in the turn lane, waited for a car to pass, and when it was clear she turned. She said she had nearly completed her turn and was almost completely in the parking lot, when i ran into her. She said my negligence caused the accident, resulting from excessive speed, not maintaining a proper look out, and not taking proper evasive action.
Now, i dont remember the accident that well .. but if there is a truck turning in front of me, and i see it for nearly 300 feet .. i would ****** stop, i wouldn't continue "excessively speeding" directly into the side of it, nor does it take 300 feet to brake from 60mph to a stop.
Everything is looking pretty bad, in their favor, but it's all crap. We'll see how it turns out.
