Default What do you prefer: Mugen or Spoon Sports

Just wondering what you guys prefer based on experience or for the hell of it: Mugen or Spoon Sports shift ****.
Both look great, and was wondering if people have used both and felt a difference between the two, if any. I doubt there would be any difference, except for the size and weight? What do you guys think?

Any comments and thoughts would be appreciated. Currently have a Skunk2 , but am looking to move on...And if this does not belong here, could someone move it to where it should be? Thanks so much!

I was put in this same dilemma. I originally bought a black Mugen ****, but later sold it to get the Spoon duracon ****. I liked the fact that the Mugen **** felt like you were just grabbing your shifter and there was no **** there, but the ridges in the **** were kinda annoying to me when i needed to shift quickly. After i got the Spoon ****, I felt a complete difference. It was much smoother feeling and felt like you had more **** to grab. I hope that aids you in your decision.

I have a Spoon **** right now but I want to switch to the new Mugen 5-speed ****. You get a cool little shift pattern plate with it! "DON'T SHIFT MISS!"

a long time ago I bought one of those cheap ones, and I hated it, I would rather have the stock one over that piece of crap, but I dont know about your 2 options. In virginia where I live it gets cold in the winter, and the metal shift ***** are no fun. But the spoon looks better imo.

I have the spoon one, it's great

It's basically really hard plastic. I put mine on way too tight to begin with, then couldn't get it off. I wrapped a pair of pliers in a rag to get it loose. It still scratched it as you can see in the picture.

I like the skunk2, I was sometimes having a problem finding gears when shifting but with the skunk2 I no longer have that problem.

Only problem with the skunk2 is that is burns the **** out of your hand on a hot day.

I have a little suade bag that just fits over the shift ****. Put it on when you get out of the car, when you get back in take the bag off and the **** is only slightly warm. No burn
Stole the bag from my wife, she got a watch in it or something. Whatever, it works.
