PROJECT: JDM DC2 NRG Rebuild
This car was handled to me when my brother tried to get a complete setup from NRG in Tallahassee. If anybody lives in the northwest area of Florida, NRG Performance was notorious for messing up ppl orders and soon he left Florida because he knew what he was getting into. Anyways, this was one of the "show" cars from the shop. After a engine blowup (spun rod), I decided to take over and fix all the problems it needed. Parts thats waiting for to be installed:
Motor:
GSR head
DRAG III turbo kit w/ intercooler
Tial 35M Wastegate
GSR block bored and honed 81.5MM
Wiesco low comp pistons
Eagle H-beam rods
Golden Eagle blockguard
New OEM oil pump
All Brand new seals
AEM polished fuel rail w/ regulator
RC 550cc injetors
ACL bearings
ARP Headstuds
Interior:
MOMO Champion steering wheel
VAFC vtec controller
WTB: Type R Seats (or Recaro's)
Exterior:
OEM JDM Metal Front End w/ molded lip
Molded Side Skirts
17x7 generic 5 star (bronze)
On to the pictures:

Taking off the molded 3 piece mid wing. I did not like the wing. Preferred the Type R instead. No wing looks better, dont you think?!

Those don't look like generic 5 stars, they look like 5 Zigen Fno1R-C wheels, a very good wheel. I would have done away with the molded wing, side skirts and front lip, also

The original motor spun a rod. I swear they didnt know how to do anything there. They shut down I believe and he ran up north to New York I think.
