Default Motor Fan

First off, i'm not sure if this is suppose to happen or not so here goes..

I been in a few DA9's but i never noticed the motor fan staying on while the car is completely off with the key out.

What I want to know is, Is this suppose to happen? If it is, How many seconds/minutes is it programmed to stay on through the fan relay?

I was just a little concern so I had to ask, But after about 3-4 mins it shut off by itself.

We're all good now.!

Yeah my Jetta does it too. Works great especially now that it's getting to be summer again.
