yes it does need a rebuild. i'll let it got for 400 though. You can get NPR rings for 50 bucks on ebay, and acl bearings and washers on Tunerschoice.com for 100....spend only 140 more and you have a rebuilt motor! a rebuilt gsr for 550...aint that a deal ?
