Default Fuel Delivery: higher fuel pressure, or longer pulse width?

From a tuning standpoint, is one better than the other? I would think there is probably a gray area. Which do you "max out" first? I would assume that you normally tune with a close-to-stock fuel pressure, to the point of max (safe) duty cycle, and then increase pressure at that point if possible? Or would you rather NOT tune to a safe max duty cycle, and just turn up the pressure? More pressure will also help atomization correct?

Just curious what some of our HT tuners think.

more pressure if you make the pw to long it will eventuaaly be off time of the piston. but you can still extend it just not that far. also depends on dwell of spark plug.
