LS/vtec

i'm gonna swap my 97 civic hb into a ls/vtec with a jdm 99 b16 trainning.I was just wondering if i'll pass state ref? oh i live in sacramento.

LS-VTEC is not legal in California.

Bar with a GSR, then sell it, then LS-Vtec. i'm sure that is hardcore illegal but a n00b pig poppin ur hood wouldn't know the difference and let u go w/o any hassles

Bar an ls motor, pray the person bar'ing your car dosent comment that its a non vtec motor, then after its all bar'd do the vtec head.. But what do I know, I'm not bar'd
