Default HID in 7th gen

im really wanting to do a retrofit hid sytem, but i dont know how im going to place the projectors in my current headlights because they are so big, unlike a 5th gen's skinny headlights for example. Someone post pics of their retrofit(if anyone here has done it in a 7th gen).

second question: what car should i take my projectors from? on ebay there are endless choices. what would the ideal projectors be

Go to HIDplanet.com they have everything on retro's such as parts and info, also on V6performance.net alot of people using s2k projectors and ballasts, there are also alot of threads on there about retros and what people have done and used for parts, a few members also do retros for people one littodevil and also a guy named rich not sure what his member name is though. Hope this helps alot!

Awesome, thanks guys. I was not even aware of that gen7 forum. lots of good stuff (ht will always be my true home however). i was calling all the junkyards around my area and apparently they either have no late model cars, or they want 500 dollars for some bmw headlamps this project may get more expensive than i originally thought
