Locked/Alarmed out of my own car.. (Viper vx791)
This morning when I went to work, I tried to use my remote but for some reason it will not connect to the car anymore. It was working fine yesterday after work when I came home and armed the car.
The only thing I can think happened was that I dropped the remote on the floor accidentally, but I've done that before and the remote still worked fine. Any clue on how to get the remote synched back to the alarm? I've also tried to remove the battery and put it back in. No luck.
Driving my bro's '86 buick sucks..
Any advice would be great, thanks.

it seems that the controller has gotten out of sync with the alarm, go next to the car and press the lock button about 7-15 times and this will re-sync the controller. If not it going to have to be reprogrammed. Try re-sync first.
Open up the case and look for cracked solder. A manager brought out his remote after he dropped it. I was the only one in the shop. I never soldered a circuit board before, but I managed it, now I get away with all kinds of stupid ****.
Thanks guys, it turns out the valet button's wires fell off. Fixed that, still no luck with the remote. I'm going to try the multiple presses.
