Has anyone ever had the cruise control switch (push button style) go out on their accord. My 91 started to intermittenly not work. The wiring looks fine on the unit under the hood. I'm thinking the switch itself is maybe bad. Anyone ever replaced one before?

 

Here's a test u could run on the switch.

Cruise Control

Cruise Main Switch/Sunroof Switch
Removal

All SRS wire harnesses and connectors
are colored yellow. Do not use electrical test equipment
on these circuits.

CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the SRS wire harnesses
when servicing the cruise control system.

1. Carefully pry out the cruise main switch/sunroof
switch from the instrument panel.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the switch or the
instrument panel when prying out the switch.

2. Disconnect the 5-P and 6-P connectors from the
switch.

Cruise Control Main Switch Test

1. Remove the switch from the instrument panel.

2. Check for continuity between the terminals in each
switch position

Or even simpler if you know some one with the same switch try theirs out and see if it fixes the problem.

A new oem switch that comes with the sunroof switch and cruise is 31.30
P/N 35830-SM1-A11

Make sure your brake switch is being pushed all the way in.
