I'm not familiar with that company, but 8lb flywheels are fine for daily driving. There are a lot of people on this board that will agree with that. As for that brand, I dont know. Is it chromoly or aluminum?

Fidanza was recommended to me; I'm currently swapping my H23 to a Jspec H22...any other suggestions for a flywheel, or is that the best to go with?

I've saw a post where someone w/ a H22 had a fidanza flywheel and said that the starter would "clunk" once in a while during startup... maybe a bad gear teeth design?

Im also not sure if the JDM and USDM starters have the same gears or not.

The competition flywheel is forged steel 4140 (same thing as chromoly???)

hahaha. We got the new Dr. Phil of this forum

Please explain your theory.......i would REALLY like to hear this

Its all user preference. There's no such thing as something being "OPTIMAL" for street use. Many of us - including myself - have an 8lb flywheel, and its very streetable. After a week or so of using it, you don't even notice its there. And i wouldn't trade it in for anything.

Now now boys, no need to get nasty.

I agree with you WeatherMan; it is personal preference. There's just so many damn choices I seriously don't know which to go with. I'm probably going to go with something very lightweight (8lbs), but which is best to go with? ACT? Fidanza?

seriously a flywheel is a flywheel....it's kind of hard to expletive up a circle with teeth.

the only thing i would say is get cromoly instead of aluminum.

i've had my no-name ebay cromoly 8lb flywheel for almost a year now with no problems.....got in a package deal with a stage 1 clutch also no problems.

all this *****-foot talk of 8lb flywheels being too light is well....*****

get an 8lb, cromoly should be less vulnerable to warpage, though my fidanza has been turning straight for over 30k

I just got a F1 racing chromoly flywheel. Looks great and the description said it was 12 lbs but it weighs it at only 10 Right in between 12-8, should be good.
